Employment, and Parking, and Ren Fair, (and movie,) oh my!
· Employment, Thursday - Slith just got a fin-up from Shamu for running rides, parking, merchandise, and maybe even costumes! Training starts next Friday.
· Parking, Saturday - how do you get into Disney's private employees only party, including paying $75 for $325-350 list-worth of Disney merchandise? You spend 3.5 hours straight directing parking for your first time with minimal experienced assistance. Oh, we were also each given 1 meal ticket worth $5.
· Ren Fair (and movie), Sunday - Last weekend when we went to Busch Gardens, we saw that MOSI (Musium of Science and Industry) was hosting a Ren Fair. today was the last day and we have a depressed kitty to cheer up. After it closes, the plan is to hit a theater for TMNT. With luck, we may run into a friend from up north who is making a suprise visit to the area (pending on his initial plans falling through. Either way we hope he enjoys his stay!)
Oh, sorry about the holiday-themed dust bunnies running about. Had to unbury since the last post.. *t's dodges the 22' dust rabbit Slith formed*

Update : Sunday night: Too tired to do a movie! We saw two complete performances by Christoph the Insultor, the last being the last one of the festival, and as such his most insulting. t sifted through stones while Jori & Slith wandered and made expensive purchases (t knew sie should've held onto the wallets!) and sifted for the better part of 2 hours, making for 4-6 sandwich bags full of semi-precious stones & minerals (and, um, zap until they were on the ground).
Update 2 (though posted w/ First Update; yay for forgetting to send): Monday night: Drove around finding a showing of TMNT that was close enough after t was off from work. The nearest theatre had just started and Slith doesn't like even missing the previews >..< .. this was at 7:10. We found the next closest theatre didn't start it's last show until 9:40 (the closest's last showing was 7:00) so we drove there, and on the way stopped at a relatively new restaurant. The decor suggested slightly-overpriced winghouse & bar, but the prices were decent and food and sauces delicious. We hung around the mall where the theatre was at for a short while waiting for time to approach to at least seat. Overall we (Slith, t's, & Typhon) enjoyed the movie. Then it was home and pretty much hit the bed (or computer, but those tend to be more fragile & expensive to hit).
